Few people would continue to campaign as he does, in the face of such threats and intimidation. Anyone who's horrified by the practice of female genital mutilation, which is inflicted on between 100 and 140 million girls worldwide, <a href="http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs241/en/" rel="nofollow">according to the World Health Organisation</a>, might be interested in supporting <a href="http://www.forwarduk.org.uk/" rel="nofollow">Forward</a>, which campaigns against it. It is even being inflicted in children in the UK. Leo Igwe shows great courage. Few people would continue to campaign as he does, in the face of such threats and intimidation.
