Don’t ask, don’t tell, or else God will kill birds
A homophobic crank possibly vaguely familiar on US religious TV programming blames mass bird die-offs and other disasters on, you guessed it, equalities legislation for gay people, in serious and concerned tones that chime completely hollow.
Cindy Jacobs, a “respected prophet,” says birds and fish may be dying off en masse because of the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. In other words: buttsecks kills.
“From Pokemon cards and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, to Marilyn Manson and psychic hotlines, this nation is under siege,” she warns in her new book.

This is insane. These people are insane. I just can’t understand them. I do try, believe me. But I simply can’t understand how one can proffer such stupidity and how they are allowed to be aired at all. God reacts to gay marriages by killing innocent birds. This is insane.
