What’s the Place of Faith in Schools?

Tonight Religion and Society is hosting a discussion on the place of faith in schools.

The website states:

Thanks to new research which will be presented here, we now have a good idea of the place that religionactually has in UK schools today. But what place should it have? And is there still a place for ‘faith schools’, old and new?

James Conroy, professor of religious and philosophical education at Glasgow University, is one of the speakers at tonight’s event, along with Bob Jackson, Richard Dawkins and John Pritchard. You can read James’s presentation at:  http://www.religionandsociety.org.uk/attachments/files/1329132950_Conroy-final.pdf

The presentation has been mentioned in both  The Telegraph and The Daily Mail
